Employee Training & Professional Development

Douglas County is committed to the continual learning and development of its employees. The County believes training is more than just building the skills and knowledge of each individual; it also provides tools to assist employees' in advancing their careers as well as serving the Counties residents and visitors.

Training and Development professionals provide structured learning experiences supporting employees in job performance and skill development as well as leadership and management abilities. The County offers multi-disciplinary programs which may be tailored to meet a department's needs.

SkillSoft (Online) Training

All County employees have access to SkillSoft training. These courses are offered and can be taken by any employee. There are mandatory classes to be completed annually. If you need instructions on how to access your skill soft class, please utilize the document below.
